Turkey to treat 40 people injured in Mosul attack
Turkey will treat 40 people who were wounded in an attack in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, the Directorate General for Emergency Management said on Saturday.
The directorate released a statement in which it said that 40 people who were injured in an attack in Mosul on Friday and their hospital attendants would be brought to Turkey for treatment.
A plane was expected to fly to Mosul on Sunday and bring the injured to Turkey to be treated in various hospitals in Ankara, the directorate also said.
About 200 parcels of foodstuff would also be sent to the region.
Thirty-seven people died and 276 others were wounded in a bomb attack in the village of Shreikhan, a majority Turkmen village just north of Mosul, on Friday.
